Tarmegan Origins

Tarmegan was started in 1993 in Seattle, Washington. Founded by Tim and Megan Ratcliffe, the company focused on well-made fleece wear that was different then the styles of the time. The company went dormant until 2019, because children got in the way for Tim and Megan. Now back in full force, Tarmegan is working to change what it means to be a sustainable outdoor wear company.

Made in Seattle, Washington means no shipping of products from overseas. Tarmegan is also working to combat the fast fashion industry with its durable, high-quality craftsmanship and materials. Man-made climate change is killing the planet that we call home. Our goal as a company is to create clothing that helps rather than hurts the earth.
